Je m'appelle Nadège, fondatrice de Ze Chauffeur,
Mon objectif est simple : vous offrir une expérience unique, bien au-delà du simple transport.
My journey has always been shaped by movement, cultures and initiative.
Born in Alsace and raised between the Drôme, Ardèche, Normandy & Switzerland, I grew up navigating regions and identities. Early on, I understood that every place carries its own rhythm, & every traveler experiences it differently.
In 1994, I moved to California and stayed for five years. (AuPair, & Internation Trade Company). Living and working in the United States shaped my independence and exposed me to international hospitality standards built on anticipation, adaptability & attention to detail.
In 1999 I return to Europe, after spending a winter in Crans-Montana, I settled in the Basque Country.
From 2000 to 2004, I worked in Saint-Jean-de-Luz for Quiksilver in the commercial department & for Roxy at the very beginning of its marketing development — learning how to build identity, structure and experience from the ground up.
In 2004, while traveling in Australia, I discovered the “hop-on hop-off” touring model for independent international travelers. The concept resonated immediately. France offered extraordinary cultural and regional diversity yet no structured touring service allowed travelers to move across the country while discovering it meaningfully.
In 2005, I created Ze Bus — a hop-on hop-off bus touring service throughout France.
I personally designed the itineraries to combine transportation and discovery
into one seamless experience. The first tours launched in 2006.
Ze Bus operated in partnership with Hostelling International and gained international visibility. I presented the project to the French Minister of Tourism and obtained my public Bus transport driving license to ensure full professional legitimacy.
This national experience — designing routes across France, combining transfers with curated stops — became the foundation of my expertise.
In 2013, I chose a more refined and personal direction. I created Ze Chauffeur
A private, high-end evolution of my original vision.
Now I am still pationated about taking you around for you to have the best relaxing enjoyable unforgettable time.

Je tiens à vous remercier infiniment pour l'excellent service que vous nous avez offert lors de notre voyage de 5 jours à travers le magnifique Pays basque, de fin juin à début juillet.
Ce furent probablement les plus belles vacances de ma vie, grâce à « notre » Nadège qui n'était pas seulement une guide/chauffeur, mais une véritable ambassadrice basque, d'une hospitalité hors pair, soucieuse de rendre notre voyage unique.
